In 2007 Osteopath Graeme Pollard commissioned a series of digital images based on human bones for his practice rooms in Torquay, Devon, UK.
A doctor friend had kept a skeleton, affectionately nicknamed ‘Hilda’, from the days of his medical training, and it was a wonderful privilege to handle and photograph these beautiful structures.
I wrote an article some time later about this for MARKINGS literary magazine, Issue 29, edited by John Hudson and Chrys Salt.
